Singaporean men say that beautiful eyes reveal a woman’s personality

The eyes hold plenty of weight – especially when it comes to 'reading' someone and elevating your mood. These are some of the findings unveiled by a new dipstick poll in Singapore, commissioned by Johnson and Johnson Vision Care Singapore. As part of its Healthy Eyes Speak Beauty campaign, the poll surveyed 100 women and men aged between 18 and 39 years old.

 

Defining who you are

It is not all about the external – beautiful, expressive eyes have a real positive impact on a woman's psyche and behavior. 83 per cent of female respondents feel happier with pretty eyes. Not only do women feel better about themselves, 63 per cent of female respondents said having striking eyes made them feel more alluring and attractive to the opposite sex.

Almost 50 per cent of women equate healthy eyes with beauty. This is supported by the fact that over a third of female respondents prioritize health – seeking out lenses that provide UV protection.
