Why People Get Bored :(

I hate it when people say, “I never get bored.”
The other phrase I hate is “If you’re bored, you’re boring.”
I work hard to make conversations and situations as interesting for myself as I can. But if I don’t try, I can lapse into a state very much like being shut up in a room where the air is stale. It feels like my brain can’t breathe or move.

Perpetually bored people mess up their lives when they drop out of school, change jobs too often or ditch good marriages. Some people say they like doing the same thing over and over. I believe that repetition is a way of reducing anxiety. To stoke your inner , keep trying new things, or delve deeper into an area you already know and love, triggering fresh insights. “You can get hits either way,”

“The best way not to be bored is to do what you like doing, typically something you’re good at.”

LOVE,

Scarlett

How to Get Fair Skin Naturally..

Ever wished your skin was a little fairer? This does not just apply to Caucasians, but also women with naturally dark complexions, who simply want a 'paler' or 'untanned' version of their skin tone. Some women prefer not to be tan too.
Steps
  1. 1
Stay out of the sun. This cannot be stressed enough. Most of the normal darkening and discoloration of your skin is caused by the sun. Or at least use a high SPF sunblock with a minimum SPF of 30. Most dermatologists agree an SPF 15 is not sufficient anymore. Dangerous UVA and UVB rays are still reaching your skin. You want 98% or more of the sun's rays to be blocked.
  2. 2
Wear a hat when outside. Especially in the summer. There are so many fashionable hats these days, you can also be a trend-setter while you are protecting your skin.

    1. 3
Try a home-made remedy to help.
      • Apply a mixture of lemon juice and honey. Leave it for 20 minutes. Then wash it off. If you have dry skin: Apply a mixture of equal amounts of cucumber juice and honey on the face and full body for 15 minutes. Then wash it off.
      • Mix a teaspoon of oatmeal powder, a pinch of turmeric and a few drops of lemon to make a thick paste. Apply to face and leave it to dry. Wash off mask with water.
      • Mash ripe bananas and smear it on the face once a week. Wash it off after 3-4 minutes.
      • A face pack made of fullers' earth, mashed ripe papaya and cucumber juice when applied to the face and throat will help tighten skin and lighten it in the process.
      • Apply slices of raw potato to the face. Let the juice sit for 10 minutes, then wash off with cool water.
      • Make a paste of 2 tbsp of wheat flour using as much water as needed. Apply on your face in an upward motion. Leave to dry. Then, wash with cool water and pat dry. This helps remove excess oil from your skin.
      • Apply a mixture of 1 tbsp of honey and 1/2 tbsp of lemon juice on your face. Leave it to dry for 15-30 minutes. Then rub it off using a very small quantity of water.
      • Rub the inner part of the skin of a papaya on your face. Let it dry. Then, wash your face with cold water and wipe dry. This will give your skin a nice glow.
      • 4
Try using any or a combination of these chemicals at least 3 times a week on your skin: Glycolic acid, retinal and even salicylic acid. These are all chemicals that naturally even out discoloration. The Gold Standard of lightening skin is Hydroquinone. It can be found in many over-the-counter cosmetic products in 2% or less. Rarely, some people find a darkening in their skin. This is mostly an abnormal reaction that happens to people with darker skin. Obviously, if this happens, discontinue using the product and consult a dermatologist.
      • 5
Exfoliate your skin a few times a week. Exfoliation takes off dead skin cells. Exfoliation only helps if your current skin is darker than your normal skin tone, because it reveals fresh skin, untouched by the sun. If you do not have an exfoliator, make one by mixing sugar or sand into liquid soap.
      • 6
Dab lemon juice on your face each night. Wash off all make-up and lotions before doing this. Close your eyes or keep the juice away from your eyes. It will burn your face, but if you can keep on a small quantity for fifteen minutes, then wash it off, it will help in lightening your skin.
      • 7
Wear plain yogurt facial masks and wash it off with milk. They are both skin lightening agents.
      • 8
Use tea tree facial cleansers. Tea tree goes deep into the skin and cleanses it out for a clear look. If you were fair but tanned or burned, tea tree cleansers should help.
      • 9
Be patient. Skin becoming a fair color takes a long time. Depending on the damage done to your skin, it can take anywhere between a few months and a couple of years. Remember that consistency is the key-do facial treatments daily. Typically, if you have only mildly tanned or burned, a few months should be adequate. But if the sun has been at your skin for hours and several days, be prepared to wait for two years or more.

Very Useful tips!

How to Become a Fashionable Teenager!

Fashion isn't about flaunting the most expensive designer brands or having an endless wardrobe. Even with the most high end clothing you can still look terrible if you don't know how to coordinate everything you have. Fashion is about expressing your personal style and using creativity to pull together unique outfits that you feel good in. You don't need to dress by what the fashion magazines say, be confident in what you are wearing and be a trendsetter, people will admire you for that.

1
Research designers and look at their ready to wear collections. True, you probably won't be able to buy that fabulous Marc Jacob dress, but it helps to have some inspiration.

2
Look at reputable fashion magazines such as Vogue, Elle, or Glamour. If you want something targeted for your age group, try Teen Vogue or Seventeen. Again, these are awesome sources for inspiration (and fashion gossip!).

3
Read blogs. This works can be used in place of magazine subscriptions, or as another source of information. Blogs have many different purposes - Style Bubble is a popular "everything" blog, and blogs like Streetpeeper focus on street style. Some more blogs are: Cheap chica (low budget), The Coveteur (like closet tours).

4
Shop for clothes that are fashionable. You don't need to shop at stores like Abercrombie and Hollister to be fashionable (actually, these stores are often frowned upon in the fashion industry.) In fact, you'll have better luck at thrift stores! This decade in fashion takes vintage and adds a twist to it. Try places like Goodwill or Salvation Army for excellent vintage clothing/re-wearable clothing. If you don't want to shop vintage try department stores like Macy's or Nordstrom. They have a wide selection of clothing, so you are bound to find what you are looking for. Forever 21 and Urban Outfitters are more "mainstream", but you can still find some great things!

5
Flaunt your new style. Don't try to match things. The fashion industry is not about matching. Look at silhouettes from designs you like and emulate them. Or even better, create your own designs! This way, people will notice what you're wearing, and it will become a trend.

10 Morning Habits to Build Your Day Upon

Over the past year I have come to see the morning as the foundation upon which I build my entire day – mentally, physically, and spiritually. I find that if I start the day by doing the habits listed in this article, I am usually happier, healthier, more productive throughout the day. In contrast, if my morning is chaotic and rushed I find that my energy runs out later in the day and I generally get a lot less done. Here then are 10 morning habits I believe will provide you with a solid foundation upon which to go about your entire day:

1. Wake Earlier

It seems there are endless articles online espousing the benefits of waking earlier. But when you think about it, this really is the key to overhauling your morning routine. With more time, you are free to develop the habits listed in this article and actually enjoy the morning free from the pressure of having to rush out the door. If you would like to develop this habit, I suggest the following articles/ sites:

How to Become An Early Riser – Steve Pavlina
10 Benefits of Rising Early, and How to Do It – Zen Habits
How I Won the Battle of the Bed – Iwillchangeyourlife
How to Wake Up Early (an entire site devoted to waking early tips)

2. Have a ‘”Holy Hour”

One of my favorite personal development coaches, Robin Sharma, advocates taking a “Holy Hour” each morning. Basically this is an hour you devote to working on yourself mentally, physically, and spiritually. If you do this, instead of turning on the computer soon after you wake up (as I know many people do in this modern age), you will set yourself up for a great day.

3. Meditate

Meditation is the practice of silencing the mind, and the morning is a particularly good time to do it. Just a few of its many benefits include improved concentration, better health, and increased knowledge of self. If you would like to learn more about meditation and how to get started, I highly recommend reading 4 Powerful Reasons to Meditate and How to Get Started.

4. Visualize the Day Ahead

A simple, yet extremely powerful, exercise to practice in the morning is to shut your eyes and visualize how you want the day to unfold. This will give you direction as you go about your day and help you to avoid getting distracted with “urgent” but unimportant tasks.

5. Read and/ or Listen to Motivational Material

This may sound cheesy, but one of the reasons I love the morning is that an entire day of endless possibilities lies ahead. One of the best ways to ignite this spirit of endless possibilities is to devour some motivational material, whether it be in the form of a book, audiobook or podcast. If you want some help finding motivational audiobooks and podcasts, check out this Free Audio and Podcasts article.

6. Think the Impossible

Since we are on the subject of endless possibilities, why not try an exercise that is inspired by the White Queen in Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland:

“Alice laughed: “There’s no use trying,” she said; “one can’t believe impossible things.”
“I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was younger, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

Allowing your mind to let go of the rational and, instead, to explore the world of the “impossible” is a great way to get your creative juices flowing. And Aristotle did once say that the mark of an educated or mature mind is that it’s able to “entertain a thought without accepting it.”

7. Eat a Nutritious Breakfast

A nutritious and balanced breakfast is essential if you want to fire up your metabolism and keep yourself powered up throughout your day. In his article 6 Practical Tips for Increasing Energy Using Food, Todd from We The Change explains:

“Simple carbs release sugar in the body at a faster rate than complex carbs, fats, and protein, and give the body an immediate “up” feeling. But it is short-lived, and if you are in the habit of a high carb breakfast you are constantly fighting a battle for energy during the day.”

So forget the carbs and instead eat whole-grain cereal, eggs, fresh fruit or a even a health shake for breakfast.

8. Exercise

There are immense benefits to exercising in the morning. First, it raises your metabolism which helps to burn calories all day. Second, it starts the day with a positive accomplishment. I always feel ready to take on anything after exercising, and it is great to carry this momentum into the day. If you would like to kickstart the exercise habit, I recommend the following articles:

How to Make Exercise Last – Pick the Brain
15 Tips to Restart the Exercise Habit and How to Keep It – Lifehack

9. Sharpen Your Brain

Exercising your brain is as important (if not more!) than exercising your muscles. Some fun activities to keep your mind sharp include Sudoku, Kakuro (my personal favorite), crosswords, quizzes, and brain teasers. I also highly recommend the site Sharp Brains for a variety of brain fitness resources.

10. Take Time to Look Good

It’s a fact of life that people judge us by our appearance. For this reason, it’s a good idea to spend a few extra minutes in the morning to ensure you go out into the world looking the best you can. In fact, a recent study by two economists found “extra time spent grooming has a positive and significant effect on both men’s and women’s earnings”. This was found to be especially true for men, where “10 minutes daily grooming increases their weekly wages by 6 percent”. Just remember, though, at some point you will need to put your pants on and get on with your day…..

What morning habits do you have that are an essential foundation for your day? Please share them below in the comments.

How to Be the Prettiest Girl in School^^

Being the "prettiest girl in school" is about more than just dressing a certain way. It's about a whole image that radiates beauty. Here is a how-to guide on getting to be the best version of you that you can be.

Part One: Take Care of Your Body

1
Eat healthy. This is an important step in making your body, mind and self better. By eating more vegetables, fruits and protein you are going to feel more energetic, your skin will clear up and you will feel better about the way you look. It's not about depriving yourself so that you are stick skinny, but it's about cleaning yourself out of those processed food.

2
Get into shape. Take the time to hit the gym or go for a run. Again, it's not about being thin, so much as it is about feeling good about yourself. The endorphins you get from working out can make you more productive and happier. There are so many ways these days to get fit. Many people go running every day. Some people do workout videos. Some people go to the gym. Some use Wii fitness games, hand weights, run up and down the stairs, hike, or just dance around the house. All of these will improve your stamina and will give you a pep to your step that is going to be noticeable. Also, working out will make your skin glow, your clothes fit better and will make you overall happier with your body.

3
Take care of your skin. Cleanse your face every night and exfoliate once a week to be spot free and have a soft and smooth face. Always use lotions to keep your skin hydrated and apply these after hot showers or before bed. Use sunless tanner or lotion to get a glow to your skin without all of the harmful effects of tanning.

Part Two: Get The Look Right

1
Flatter your body. One of the most sought after shapes is the hourglass! Try to mirror this look by cinching your waist and adding layers to your hips and bust. Or work with your body shape to find the clothes that best fit you. Get clothing pieces tailored so that they fit you properly. A good fit will make all the difference especially in something like jeans that you wear everyday.

2
Always look put together. This means before you leave the house make sure that you look well enough that you would happily run into an ex-crush. If you feel like you look too casual, too messy or not cute, run back into your house and add some mascara, redo your hair or pick a different outfit. Having the whole look is what is going to make you the prettiest girl in school.

3
Switch up how you wear your hair. Always wear your hair in new ways, this will draw attention to you in a positive way. Try different braids, buns, and curly/straight styles to mix up your look. By adding accessories, people will start to appreciate how much effort you put into your look and start asking you for tips!

4
Spend time doing your make up. To look beautiful, create big, bright eyes and plump lips. These are two features that both men and women respond to well. Put on your lipstick using a brush to give yourself more control around the edges and to create a plump lip. Then apply highlighter powder under and around the eyes. Use a white liner on the bottom inner rim of your eye and then a dark color to line the lash line on top to create a larger eye. Always use neutral eye shadows over bold colors as these will open the eye and leave you looking natural pretty. When adding blush, you want to create a soft look on your face, so never use harsh blushes or bronzers as those also don't look natural.

5
Take care of your nails. Always have them cut, shaped, and buffed. If you can keep up the maintenance, try painting them fun and bold colors. This will make you look more put together. It's the little details like that people notice.

6
Accessorize the right way. Try adding hair accessories, belts, jewelry, and bags to your outfit to create a complete look. Never over do it. One watch, one belt or one headband are all statement pieces and don't need much more to go with them.

Instead of a book bag, carry a bag. This will make you look more fashionable and help you stand out. Have a variety of bags so that you aren't always using the same ones.
Part Three: Have the Right Attitude

1
Don’t be cruel. While Regina George makes it look glamorous, being mean to other girls does not make you look prettier. In fact, most girls will gravitate and look up to girls who are nice to everyone. So instead of hurting people's feelings, make them feel good about themselves. They will have a more positive image of you that way!

2
Be confident and exude confidence. Always be sure of who you are and don't let people change you. The best way to show that you are the prettiest girl in school is to never change who you are, why should you need to?. Besides, you'll look prettier if you also look confident, and the best way to do is, besides taking care of how you look, walking with a straight posture and a slight sway on your hips.

3
Take the time to do the little things for people. This goes a long way when it comes to getting people to like you. By taking the time to compliment someone or help someone out, they are going to, in turn, have a higher opinion of you. This will make the difference when it comes to be just pretty, and the pretty girl everyone wants to be like.

Drop 5 Pounds in a Week!!!!!!!!!

Drink Mainly Water

A sports or energy drink, fruit smoothie, or light beer . Each serving contains about 100 calories. Yet these beverages don't satisfy you the way 100 calories of food does, so they're a waste. Other liquids may be high in sodium and carbohydrates, which trick your body into retaining water, puffing you out.
Water, on the other hand, has zero calories and carbs and little to no sodium, making it the perfect slim-down drink. And strangely, it actually helps flush out excess water weight as well as jump-starts your metabolism. If it's just too boring, add lemon wedges or mint leaves.

Well, still not satisfy? Just stop eating before 6 pm and never ever eat at night . You'll lose weigh for sure. Do not waste your time and start doing it today!Hurry~~~ :D

7 Reasons You’re Still Hungry—Even After You Just Ate!

Do you sometimes feel ravenous, even though you just polished off a tasty lunch, a full dinner, or a midnight snack? Yes ! I do! And the last reason is just for me. Some food ingredients can trick our bodies into not recognizing when we’re full, causing “rebound hunger” that can add inches to our waistlines. Check it OUT!

You Drink Too Much Soda

Sodas, iced teas, and other sweetened beverages are our biggest source of high-fructose corn syrup—accounting for about two-thirds of our annual intake. New research from the University of California at San Francisco indicates that fructose can trick our brains into craving more food, even when we’re full. It works by impeding the body’s ability to use leptin, the “satiation hormone” that tells us when we’ve had enough to eat.

Your Dinner Came Out of a Can

Many canned foods are high in the chemical bisphenol-A, or BPA, which the Food and Drug Administration recently stated was a chemical “of some concern.” Exposure to BPA can cause abnormal surges in leptin that, according to Harvard University researchers, leads to food cravings and obesity.

Your Breakfast Wasn't Big Enough

After following 6,764 healthy people for almost 4 years, researchers found that those who ate just 300 calories for breakfast gained almost twice as much weight as those who ate 500 calories or more for breakfast. The reason: Eating a big breakfast makes for smaller rises in blood sugar and insulin throughout the day, meaning fewer sudden food cravings.

You Skipped the Salad

Most Americans don’t eat enough leafy greens, which are rich in the essential B-vitamin folate and help protect against depression, fatigue, and weight gain. In one study, dieters with the highest levels of folate in their bodies lost 8.5 times as much weight as those with the lowest levels. Leafy greens are also high in vitamin K, another insulin-regulating nutrient that helps quash cravings. Best sources: Romaine lettuce, spinach, collard greens, radicchio.

You Don't Stop for Tea Time

According to a study in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition, people who drank one cup of black tea after eating high-carb foods decreased their blood-sugar levels by 10 percent for 2 and a half hours after the meal, which means they stayed full longer and had fewer food cravings. Researchers credit the polyphenolic compounds in black tea for suppressing rebound hunger.

You're Not Staying Fluid

Dehydration often mimics the feeling of hunger. If you’ve just eaten and still feel hungry, drink a glass of water before eating more, and see if your desires don’t diminish.

You're Bored

Researchers at Flinders University in Australia found that visual distractions can help curb cravings. To test yourself, envision a huge, sizzling steak. If you’re truly hungry, the steak will seem appealing. But if that doesn’t seem tempting, chances are you’re in need of a distraction, not another meal.

Video:How to Choose Running Shoes

There's no better way to protect your body from injury while running than to choose the best shoe for you. Learn how to choose running shoes that will work for you.
#jogging

Basic Running Clothing for Beginners..

What Should a Beginner Runner Wear?

If you're new to running, you may be wondering, What should I wear when running? One of the things I love about running is that you don't need any fancy running gear or expensive running clothing. All you really need to get started with running is a good pair of running shoes.

Running Shoes: Your Most Important Running Gear

Wearing old running shoes or running shoes that aren't right for your foot type and running style is one of the biggest causes of running injuries. Therefore, it's not a good idea to dig out those old tennis shoes from the back of your closet and assume you can run in them. You need fresh, well-cushioned shoes that are designed for running, fit well and match your foot type and running style.

It's best to go to a running-specialty store, where experts can evaluate your foot and running style and make recommendations for the right shoes for you. You don't need to buy the most expensive pair of running shoes in the store, but investing in a good pair of running shoes is a smart idea that will help prevent injuries and increase your comfort while running.
